So, I first created a cover for the second episode that, like the first episode, appeared amateurish. So, after remaking the first episode cover, I remade the second episode cover.

And... it didn't work. I mean, it looked good, but it didn't match the genre. The first impression of anybody who looked at it thought it was Lesbian Romance.

The Last Hive is Post-apocalyptic Sci-fi. I was trying to catch a scene in the book not involving two lesbians, but there were two naked women embracing in a non-romantic way. In fact, one of them had just beat the living shit out of the other.

But, despite the old adage, people do judge stories by the cover. And I would not want people into Lesbian Romance to pick up my story and get something unrelated.

So, I redid the cover. Used much of the same background, just made a few changes. And honestly, I think it matches my genre much better.

I'll present the new cover for Episode 2, and below will be the genre-fail cover.
